In this chapter, God explains to the people of Israel the punishments that will befall them for their sins. If you read the verses from this chapter, you will see that the punishments are very severe. The people of Israel will be forced to drink the water of the Nile River and will be transported to a strange country. They will be given different kinds of punishments and will have to live in a dark land. This is the second time that the people of Israel have been punished for their sins. They have been given a second chance and will be given the right guidance and will be able to live in the Holy Land.
